When all seems lost, there's always an option that can lighten our lifestyle and make our goals achievable. That's why today we bring you a series of easy tricks to include in your daily routine that can make a difference and be very important for weight loss. Write them down if you don't know them:
Eating on small plates
Nutrition experts say that one of the reasons we eat so much is that we eat from containers that are too big, and when we fill them with food, they always seem a little empty, so we tend to fill them to the top.

| To trick our minds, small plates are much better for controlling quantities. |
The solution is as simple as changing your tableware to smaller ones and serving your food on smaller plates to trick the eye and the mind.
Chew 20 times
When something we eat is delicious, we tend to gulp it down without chewing and barely enjoy it. We don't realize we're full because we eat so intensely and so quickly that our brain can't process it as quickly. Experts say we should chew each spoonful ten to twenty times so that the food breaks down, we enjoy our bite more, and we are aware that the food is reaching our stomach.
The One-Plate Rule
The one-plate rule was coined at the end of the last century at Harvard University. This American institution revealed that for a meal to be complete and satisfying and to maintain a healthy weight, or even lose a few pounds, we should have a plate that is half vegetables, a quarter protein, the other quarter carbohydrates, and if we deemed it appropriate, an eighth could be the amount we needed of healthy fats.
Water before a meal
Drinking a glass of water before a meal will help fill our stomach and help us arrive at the meal more calmly so we don't overwhelm everyone. It will calm our hunger, and we won't eat out of anxiety but out of necessity.
